The story of Staff Professional Development

The story of offering staff professional development was seeded from a principal, by chance, attending the Year 12 'Money Confidence' program. School executive are very busy however we always encourage them to come and see the wonderful opportunity and experience their students are having if they are available.

Often the best possible way is to see it for yourself. It breathes life and colour into the email you’ve been sent, the discussions in your staff meeting or the experience and feedback of someone else. After seeing the benefit from the student ‘Money Confidence’ program could have for staff, the principal asked if we could build and deliver a teacher specific professional development session. The rest is history.

Today, we deliver staff professional development to many of our schools in conjunction with the ‘Money Confidence’ Year 7‑12 student program and our Parent/Student evenings.

Focused on our core principles – Practical, Implementable, and Fun (P.I.F) framework – each staff professional development experience will be tailored to the needs of your school, areas of interest and designed to maximise the financial health and wellbeing of your staff.

The range of professional development opportunities can be explained in much more detail by your school support partner to answer any of your specific questions and work with you to introduce this type of professional development for your school and staff.
